Questions
What is a credit?
Credits pay for the AI work behind your game. Each step the builder takes costs credits in proportion to what the model you picked charges, so lighter models stretch further. A new game on Claude Sonnet 5.5 is about 75 credits, and each change after that about 35.
Is there a free plan?
Playing games on Gamavas is free. Building with Studio runs on credits: choose a plan, or buy a credit pack if you'd rather not subscribe.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits are granted every month and reset at the end of it. Credits from packs last 12 months. When you have both, plan credits are used first.
Why are prices in US dollars?
Every plan and pack is billed in US dollars. If we can tell where you are, we also show an estimate in your currency using today's exchange rate; your bank's rate on the day may differ slightly.
How can I pay?
Plans renew automatically on a card that can pay in US dollars. Credit packs are one-off payments by card, bank transfer or mobile money.
Who owns the games I make?
You do, with full commercial rights. You can publish them to the Gamavas directory from Studio.
What are the coins and XP that come with a plan?
Every plan adds Gamavas Coins each month, which you can use to upvote games in the Weekly Premier, and membership XP towards your Gamavas level.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Manage billing. You keep your plan, and that month's credits, until the end of the period you've paid for.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe the game you want and answer a few questions; the builder writes the code. You can still read and edit it if you like.
